On the other hand, it can be of some replacement of aluminum foil which, of course, helps to reduce the cost.

Secondly, metalized film have excellent metal brightness and good reflectivity, which in some extent, shows a feeling of magnificence and richness. Products using metalized film as packaging can be highly appreciated as beautified and self-promoting.

Metalized films have excellent ability of air-resistance, moistrure-resistance, shading light and keeping fragrance. It has excellent resistance not only to water vapor and oxygen, but also to almost all the UV, visible light, infrared rays which can prolong the storage period of the content and the lift of the shelf. So, it is very good choice to use metalized films as packaging materials for the products that need to be long-time stored such as foods and medicines. In some places, metalized films can replace aluminum foil, that cause the reduction of aluminum, so the packaging cost can be lowered.

The aluminum layer on the outside surface of the metalized film has excellent conductivity, that is able to eliminate electrostatic effect resulting fine sealing ability. When packaging the powder products, the fine sealing ability can protect the power from seepage.

Based on the abovementioned advantages, metalized films are being more and more widely used in our life, one of the most common used packaging materials in the flexible packaging industry. There are many kinds of metalized films of which Vacuum metalized PET film (VMPET) and Vacuum Metalized CPP film (VMCPP) are the most common items. Vacuum metalized PET film is usually used as the middle layer in the lamination packaging. As it is beautiful in appearance, it is also used in top grade packaging such as milk powder and tea. Vacuum metalized CPP film is usually used as the thermal sealing layer in the lamination packaging, such as biscuit packaging.
